The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Buxton, just behind the pub, offering a convenient location to explore the area around the Crescent. The rooms come with tea and coffee making facilities and surprisingly exceeded my expectations with a modern bathroom, though the swirly pattern carpets felt a bit dated. The dining experience provided fresh locally sourced meals and was cheerfully served, enhancing the stay. However, the design of the carpets may not suit everyone's taste, and the pub nearby seemed more geared towards the younger crowd.
The hotel is nestled in the heart of Buxton behind the pub, making it a convenient location to explore the town. The rooms exceeded all expectations with every facility available, including a small chair in the tight space of the bathroom. However, the dining experience, while freshly served and sourced locally, had limited options, and the aged USDA prime steaks were not to my taste.
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with nice ensuite showers and amenities like tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning. The service is excellent with attentive housekeeping and a welcoming drink upon arrival. The location is perfect, right in the center of Buxton within walking distance of everything. The dining experience features fresh, locally sourced dishes served cheerfully. The facilities are top-notch, providing everything you need for a pleasant stay.
